Complete checklist for your visa application
1.Basic Documents
- ✓Valid passport (minimum 6 months validity from intended date of departure)
- ✓Completed and signed visa application form
- ✓Two recent passport-sized color photographs (35mm x 45mm, white background)
- ✓Copy of passport bio page
- ✓Previous visas (if applicable)
2.Financial Documents
- ✓Bank statements for the last 3 months (original and stamped by bank)
- ✓Proof of sufficient funds (minimum amount varies by visa type)
- ✓Salary certificate or employment letter
- ✓Income tax returns (if applicable)
- ✓Sponsorship letter (if sponsored)
3.Travel Documents
- ✓Round-trip flight reservations or itinerary
- ✓Hotel bookings or accommodation proof
- ✓Travel insurance (minimum coverage €30,000)
- ✓Travel itinerary
4.Supporting Documents
- ✓Invitation letter (for business/family visits)
- ✓Employment letter or business registration
- ✓Academic documents (for study visas)
- ✓Work permit (for work visas)
- ✓Proof of family relationship (for family visits)
Important Notes
Document Validity
All documents must be valid and not expired. Expired documents will not be accepted.
Translation Requirements
Documents not in English or Romanian must be translated by a certified translator.
Original Documents
Original documents may be required for verification. Always carry originals to your embassy appointment.
Photocopies
Prepare clear photocopies of all documents. Keep one set for your records.
